Roots Café, situated in the heart of the Rougham Estate, is a recent venture that has been brought to life within the historical setting of Blackthorpe Barn. The objective was to create a unique café experience that would offer a blend of traditional charm with a contemporary twist, serving locally sourced food and drink. The project had a broad scope, encompassing everything from project management and licensing application to branding and design.

Services provided
We oversaw the entire project, ensuring seamless coordination among all parties involved and handled the licensing application process to meet all legal requirements.

We created a unique brand identity to reflect the ‘Roots’ of Rougham. Our design team created detailed external and internal building layout plans and developed a 3D model using SketchUp. The interiors were curated to match the café’s brand identity, and we sourced and installed appropriate light equipment and shop-fit fixtures.

The retail space was meticulously planned, and we procured a range of high-quality products aligning with the café’s ethos of promoting local produce. Our culinary experts developed a menu reflecting the café’s commitment to fresh, locally sourced food, and we implemented EPOS systems to streamline operations. Engaging visual merchandising displays were designed to resonate with the café’s brand. Bespoke POS and signage that aligns with the café’s branding were designed and installed.

Finally, a comprehensive social media and marketing guide was developed to effectively promote the café.
