Come along and see us at stand 380 at the Farm Business Innovation Show 2017 at the NEC in Birmingham on the 9th & 10th November! We’ll be there exploring how we can help you diversify, expand, and adapt.
The Farm Business Innovation Show is Europe’s leading event for farmers, landowners and estate owners. Voted ‘Trade Show of the Year’ by the EN Awards in 2016, the show is returning to NEC in Birmingham on the 8th & 9th November 2017. This event provides rural entrepreneurs with the inspiration, resources and advice needed to diversify, innovate and succeed through 200 seminars, 500 hand-picked exhibitors, industry-leading experts and unrivalled networking and business opportunities.
Traditionally, diversification is seen in the agricultural, farming and land management communities as building on traditional farming practices and delving into new and innovative endeavours by adding additional revenue streams such as renewable energy, organic food production, rural tourism or niche livestock. However, the venture into rural diversification requires so much more than just a good idea, and to thrive you need to have clear plans, goals and confidence in your choices. Considering aspects such as planning laws, marketing & PR, your online presence and your own and your staff’s skill sets are essential when starting or growing any new venture; whilst at the same time keeping your enthusiasm and values, ensuring your goals stay in sight and your business is a continuing success. Finding the answers needn’t be daunting, you just need to know where to look.
The Farm Business Innovation Show will pull together some of the most forward-thinking business minds in the industry to share their ideas, knowledge and secrets along with real-life case studies, in order to help the 9,000 visitors start, grow, or improve their rural business. The seminars aim to be inspiring, educational and motivational, featuring speakers such as; Michael Eavis (Glastonbury Festival) who will discuss how the festival and farm work together, Colin Edwards (National Farm Attractions Network) with top tips on running a successful farm attraction and Doug Gurr (Amazon) who will look at unlocking the digital potential of rural UK.
There will also be several interactive debates taking place over the two days, all of which will have the best industry professionals divulging their thoughts on hot topics such as planning permission, social media, succession planning, weddings, equestrian business rates, and glamping.
Running on the 8th & 9th November 2017 at the NEC Birmingham tickets to attend the show are free, visitors just need to register via the website www.farmbusinessshow.co.uk.
Admission to the Farm Business Innovation Show will also give you full access to its sister shows: Holiday Park & Resort Innovation, Country House Business Innovation and Family Attraction Expo. As always the shows bring together all the tools, resources and advice, in order to put rural business on the map in one of the most vibrant, dynamic and competitive sectors in British business.
